OK, hard hat time.
One nice sunny day at the Psychiatric jail in Brockville, I took an inmate for a medical appointment at the local hospital. Once in the medical room I settled into my chair a few feet away so that I could observe the inmate but not be too intrusive into the medical stuff.
Well doctor asks said inmate to open his gown and the next question I heard was " So has it always hung to the left?" I just about had full cardiac arrest on the spot. After listening to the conversation steer towards not being able to stay totally hard I'm sure I was bleeding out of my ear canals. Apparently the civilian nurses that do the "clinical" stuff at the new jail [who in thier defense did all come from a psych. hospital] thought that this young mans self esteem problems resulted from this.
Needless to say this did not happen again and the prescription for the "other kind" [ can't recall name]of Viagra went into his property for when he was discharged.

Can't speak for the Federal system though..........

Hey, if they can get crack, pot and alcohol, then why not Viagra?  Don't forget, nothing in Canada is more precious than our criminals.  If some a$$hat wants a bone-on 24/7, and that keeps him from getting double and triple time credit for his jail time because the facility is oh-so-unpleasant, then fill him up. Since the deterrence of psycho monster inmates that love their girl boy prisoners is not much of a deterant to anyone, maybe psycho monster inmates that love their girl boy prisoners that can have erections lasting up to four hours will be. 
Hell, include a Barry White CD with the prescription.
