Vimy survivors

My grandfather was a survivor of Vimy, and I have spent a great deal of time and effort trying to fill in the time between when he signed up, until he came home after the war. He was badly wounded and as I undersand taken to a Hospital in Liverpool, England. I came across this forum today, and I a hoping that I might get some help in my evdeavors. Any suggestions??

Pull his service records, theres a service online to do this, search WW1 Canadian service records,
it costs about $50 but it will tell yuo everywhere he went and what his injuries were,
If you are a member of a Unit your museum might be able to pull them free of charge if you ask nicely , I've pulled 4 or 5 sets already.
