This is what I know so far, I've passed my initial stages and I'm waiting for a date to go to ACS.
I also know that the board for DEO apps will sit mid-April this year, which being Feb now, I'm hoping to
make it for.

What kind of time frame am I looking at from my initial interview to being booked for ACS?
(I've heard 4-6 weeks)

Will the board still review my application even if I haven't done ACS yet?

Anyone?

I had my interview mid December and I'm being booked for ACS for next Monday. I was told by the Cpl. that booking for ACS runs from late Jan to Early March. If you haven't completed your interview or medical yet, you might not make it in time for ACS or even the next selection board if it is infact mid April depending on your the program you're applying through cause with DEO, I think they require that you pass ACS first before your file can be sent. However with some other ones, you'll be selected come time for the board on the condition that you will pass ACS later.

I`m sure they will still review your application. I didn't do ACS until after spending a full 2 years in the military (ROTP). good luck...

Are you going pilot or for air nav? The person in charge of DEO file at CFRC Vancouver said they need pilots so bad they aren't doing boards. They are just reviewing the files as they come in. I'm also awaiting a date to goto ACS

Thanks for the reply,

I've passed my interview/med/phys and so on, so I'm expecting a time. Just trying to narrow it down.
From what you've mentioned and a quick review of the calendar I should be safe. but you just never know
what's possible.

Did you get your ACS date a few days in advance? or weeks? Did they spring it on you or did you have a
fair warning?

thanks again

damn, that sounds good to me. I'm going for Pilot. Maybe I'll see you there.

No they try and give you a week of study time (the book the send you to review).

As for a time frame it all depends on when your medical comes back from back east. Theres a guy on here named Zxexn I think and he did his medical at the same time I did (not sure what CFRC). Our medicals got sent out at around the same time (mid dec). He's already booked for ACS next week I believe, and my medical still hasn't come back. I was told that it could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to come back, but that it usually doesn't take more then 6 weeks.

I'm currently waiting to be given the green light for the Feb. 20th to 25th ACS...

Seems they need 4 people to make it run, but they are having problems filling it?

It being Wednesday the 8th today I'd say they are cutting it a little close on the weeks notice... but maybe that's because I was brought up in a family that liked to make plans months in advance.

Anyone else shooting for the 20th-25th? From the Vancouver/Victoria area?

I"m going for the one the week after that one. End of Feb to early march for get the dates

I was just confirmed into the 20th-24th week.

I'm giddy as a school girl. :)
