It's only 20 days like you said...so take a deep breathe and count to ten.  I can't really tell you what to expect next, since I don't know your MOC...Are you applying for regular force or reserve?

Wolfe,

welcome to Army.ca. You'll find that there is a wealth of information here that will help you prepare for your training while you wait for the slow machinations of the Recruiting system. Give the CFRC a call and ask about your file, it doesn't hurt to stay in regular contact with them to track the progress of your file.

Also, you'll find a lot of useful information here, I recommend you start with the Recruiting FAQ, which insludes discussion of the time it can take for a file to work it's way from application to completion:

Recruiting FAQ - http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/21101.0.html

Because many questions have already been asked and explored in detail, a good understanding of the Conduct Guidelines and familiarity with the search functions are highly recommended:

Conduct Guidelines - http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/24937.0.html
Search page - http://forums.army.ca/forums/index.php?action=search;advanced

Enjoy your reading, and by all means, when the threads you are reading don't answer your particular questions, please add your new query to the most appropriate thread.

Cheers

You just have to keep waiting and waiting. My process started back in January and I'm finally going to BMQ in September. Hang tight  :salute:

if my medical gets passed, i hope to be doing the weekend BMQ by Nov.
i was told that i would start doing the parade night starting in sept though....doesn't look likely, my medical was done July 28, but it took two weeks to get my doc to fill out the form about my blood pressure, and i had to see an eye doc, i got an '8' on my vision test, but the eye doc tested me and i had prefect vision lol 75$ later. sept is only two weeks away, don't think things will be ironed out by then.

I fihished my test and was merit listed the end of July.  I'm beginning to think I'm out of luck for this summer.  Perhaps we'll all be jogging in the snow for BMQ.

No prob, we're Canadian we'll just carry hockey sticks. ;D

Keep waiting they will contact you when they have something.  Check in with them when it has been a month and a half and every couple weeks after that.  Put your personal situation in the application samples so people can tell where you are at in the processing.

yeah the waiting sucks, and it really got me down for awhile, now, I am looking at the waiting in a different light, the longer I wait for the call the better shape I will be in.  I have turned my intensity way up for training, I want to be ready for BMQ and SQ.  Train hard wolfe, 031's have to be in great shape.

cheers

Yea i train a lot every day i run 3 km and after i go with my bike to the gym and i spend 2 hours in the gym ...and then i go back with my bike...6 km back and forth ...but you know we gonna have a lots of fun doing the BMQ in January, i am doing the BMQ at st-jean so its gonna be fun doing push-ups in -40C but still i am positive so the winter will make me tougher.....when i am gonna pass i will be tough enough  :salute: :cdn:
