Want to join the army

hey ive been wanting to join the army for awhile now, im 19 years old, and i got a few questions, i didnt pass grade 12 im just missin one class, social studies , and i was wondering do i need to be a graduate? and i used to smoke weed sometimes with my friends   and such , i stopped smokin for about 6 months now and i wont be doin it any more but will that affect anything for me joining? and also i wanna try to join a few months, go to the recruiting centre i mean, now how long does it take to know if your in ?

All of these questions have been asked. Use the search function. The length of time varies from person to person- look to take about a year depending on trade/hic-cups. No you dont have to be a graduate for certain trades. If its just one class though it would be a shame not to take it. As for drugs its 3 years free and clear. Contact the recruting centre and they'll help you out- its their job.
