Was thinking of getting this!

Hey that's not a bad lookin pack for $100. Bear in mind that shipping and the USD to CDN will end up costing you though. Still, good lookin bag I think.

There are a couple of Maxpedition dealers in Canada (such as SEALS Action Gear in Calgary). I haven't compared prices but it might save some hassle (customs, exchange rate etc).

No PALS webbing (just one dinky row on each pouch) - I would consider the Tactical Tailor, Eagle, the LightFighter RAID, or the Kifaru Marauder before that one.

Ditto to Infanteer

While MaxPedition makes some good gear - I try to stick to their pouches - especially the dump pouch - their other gear is not as well thoughtout as their competitions

Looks better, I like the fact that they have a "Digital Desert" pattern, but I'm not too familiar with the Line.

I tell you though, the Lightfighter RAID is used by guys over in the Sandbox and they swear by it over on the Lightfighter forums.

If I were you

I would get this

cadpat_nbc_bag.jpg

Its 60 Canadian...  in cadpat... waterproof.  map pouch and two large side pouches

And you support breast cancer by buying it.....

PM me... let me know

Maybe it's just me, but I find it very hard to take a company seriously when their grammar/spelling sucks. It might be the best assault pack in the world, but when it has an "ergonomically design" i tend to look elsewhere.

The URL indicates the company is from Taiwan. I don't think your Taiwanese grammar is perfect either...  ;)

Touché. Then again, I try to avoid products made in sweat shops. Partly because they can't handle abuse, but mostly because child/slave labour make me angry  :rage:

Don't get me wrong, I realize that not everything manufactured in the far east is made in a sweat shop, but products from that part of the world are notorious for falling apart long before they're supposed to.

Cheers,
Pinky

Get rid of the dinky waistbelt! Every pack has 'em and they're so useless.

I disagree, I can't stand it when a pack DOESN'T have a waistbelt. It helps stabilize the load, keeps it closer to your body, and can take some of the pressure off your shoulders.

Pinky

With a small pack like that I'm always synching the straps up tight so the waist belt is at about my boob level. And it doesn't take any weight off the shoulders because the frame isn't built into the belt.

Fair enough, but I think we'l have to agree to disagree on this one

Don't hold your breath, they aren't due out till 2010. I'd check out some of the other options online

JTech makes knockoff gear and I beleive they target the Asian airsofter market.

Stay far away
