????What Pay Is Comin Today????

Hello everyone I‘m just wounderin when my first paycheck will be issued I start May 3 and was wounderin if my pay will still be on the 15 of the month minus the three days?
And I know that my salary is $2221.00 or about that...I‘m NCM Infantry with the RCR.
What kind of tax hits are gonna come outta my pay and what would be left for me every month after the Government bite??
Is the "BITE" a big one or is it ok?
Oh and does anyone know what the exact pay increase is after BMQ if there is any.

Don‘t really care much ‘bout the "$$$"

As for when you get your first pay...I wouldn‘t count on receiving it on the 15th if you start on the 3rd. Dnd= government=slow. I was issued 2 cheques before I received a direct payment because the paperwork didn‘t go through in time. I have heard of reservists going to basic and not receiving pay till halfway or so through the course.

When I was enrolled last week, I was shown what the deductions would be while in Basic. I can‘t remember exactly, but with all of the deductions it‘s something like 1200-1400. That is the take home money, including everything but an extra $15.00 a month.

Also, from what I gather, the pay increases come each year in your pay rank. They stop after so many years of being in a certain rank.

As I said, I can‘t remember exactly the amount, but there is significant deductions. All the deductions are the typical ones, like taxes, but also military ones like room and board.
