I am currently doing a BSc. Combined Hons in Chemistry and Earth Science, and I was wondering what trades are available if I wanted to join up after I have finished my degree - it doesn't have to be a trade that is currently in demand either, I just want to know what options are available. Also I am located in BC, if this affects anything.

* "Select all of the Education Levels that you have completed to view the jobs that you are eligible for."

Edit to add.

* Quoted from the Recruiting page.

As always, best bet is to ask a Recruiter.

The educational requirements for each CF occupation are far and wide and change on a regular basis both at the NCM and Officer levels.  The CF is always interested in applicants (both NCM and Offr) with post secondary education but are not about to tell you what you can do for us!

It's "your" career choice, so you need to have some sort of idea as to just what you want to do in life.

You can't come knocking on the door and say "Here's my degree.  Where do I fit in?"

The problem with this is that some occupations may require a certain type of degree. If you want to be an engineer, then you can't join with a BA. The best  information that can be given to you would most likely be the classic talk to a recruiter response. Although it's unlikely, there could very well be someone on this site with access to that information.

Actually, I was thinking the same thing but then wondering whether or not a Recruiter at a CFRC would actually take the time to do that.
