TSK!

Vern asked aviator for a coupled meals, then you offer
Kraft Dinner OR to go to your home and BUY lobsters ?

Tell your mom that she has still a few things to teach toward treating women  :D!
I never said my home, what I meant was my town, and if any Military person came here, lobster would be free from me. Plus, I love women, they are very good with steak  ;D . Vern, I don't like it dipped in melted butter either.

Hmmm Lobster

"Come here in June an you can get lobster for like $5 per pound. I hear that it's a great deal to you mainlander types."

- Summer 1986, one dollar a pound from the locals in front of the CFB Cornwallis WO's and Sergeant's Mess.
Me?  I'd rather have bacon and eggs.

Wanna come over here and cook a few meals for me?? Please!!  :D

i dont want to go in your part of the world unless i have to...but if you are ever in mine...you know where to find me, the door is always open

I can't believe I missed this thread. CDN aviator is trying to pretend he can cook but believe me, instant rice, boxed riblets (2000 mg of cholesterol each) and canned peas and carrots, is not cooking ha! ha! As for the meat issue, Buffalo is where it's at. There is no fat in it and it's yummy. MMMMMMM Buffalo steak!!!!!!

And the farmers in the Cranbrooke area are again demanding a reduction in the Elk herds. Forget the beef, nothing better than grain fed Elk. Longer season this year, more openings, maybe it is time to invest in a larger freezer.

As a Meat Department Professional I must inform you all of a closely guarded industry secret about ground beef. It is essentially all the same, however we charge more because it makes good conversation other than talk about our "lives" while in the break room.

I hear the FBSP (Food Basics Secret Police) at my walkway.

;D

i try to stay away from any ground meat, unless its for home made taco's, but as far as steaks go, if i can still hear a faint moo then its done

Ah yes......Cordon bleu chicken......Chicken stuffed with Cheese and Ham....

Not quite the same though when its massed produced for a course of 60 and served by mediocre caterer's.....sort of puts you off.
