I'm currently in grade 12 and I want to graduate before I join but when is a good time to apply? Like how long does it take for them to even read my application?
I want to apply before school ends but If I do that I wont technically have my Highschool diploma yet which I want to be able to say I have when applying. So I was thinking if I apply in april or something so that by the time im done school in june maybe that's when they would read my application.

I don't know how to go about this, should I just wait until I actually graduate to apply because I really want to apply ASAP.

Have you considered addressing this question to one of the people at the recruiting centre whose specific job it is to deal with people interested in joining the military? They don't bite any more than we do (probably less), and you incur no obligation by walking in and asking for five minutes of their time.

an option could be to complete the application prepare all your character references and spend the rest of the school year committing to things like volunteering, focusing on your schooling and working out,  all the stuff that will look good in the application process. That way while all your buddies are laying in bed hungover the morning after graduation you can be on your way to the RC.

"Talked with the recruiter today - It is in your best interest to put in your application to start the process during your final year of study."

"Definitely give them a call and talk to them about options."

I live half an hour away from the recruiting centre so I would have to call and it's only open on Tuesdays so I figured I would just ask you guys.

This is exactly what I was looking for, I will pick a date to drive down to the recruiting centre and apply if this is the case then I would like to start the process ASAP.

Thank you all for the help.
