I am going into the reserves infantry. I was thinking of going to either POWOR or the grey and simcoe foresters if you could give me some advice it would be really helpful.

Go and visit both regiments on their respectful parade nights, and see which of the trooops you best jive with.

Well Tess has the main factor covered, don't discount one other. Where do you live in relation to the units? One unit is located In Kingston , the other in/ around Owen Sound (IIRC)
How close are you to each unit? Basically how far will you have to commute to either unit?
It may not seem important at first but it may be a factor in how often you can parade, and therefore how much you will get out of your service and not just for advancement.

I live in Midland Ont. But my Dad lives in KIngston so i could live with him for a bit and he is less than 1/2 hour off base.
