Hello

I currently have an open application for the Regular forces. I applied for Combat Engineer, Infantry and Weapons Technician. As of now I am just waiting for the recruiter assigned to my application to get to it next. CFRC Toronto has a ton of applicants so it can take awhile before they get to you.

The Canadian Forces is where I see myself pursuing a career. I have always been very mature, self disciplined, self motivated, will take the initiative and work well in teams or alone.  My question is directed at any recruiters or training instructors on this board.

Based on this information would I be a suitable applicant?

General information
25 years old
Canadian citizen
No criminal record
Physically and mentally fit - I have excellent upper/lower body strength and work well under pressure.
Don't drink and have never used any drugs - I don't even drink coffee

Education & Cerftifications
Currently working towards an Architectural Technology Diploma
High School
Standard First Aid Level C Certification - With CPR/AED
WHMIS Certified

Work Experience
Currently work for an Engineer as a CAD operator
4 years work experience in the service industry and retail
Volunteered at the local hospital during high school
2 years doing free lance computer repair

Thank You

To be eligible to apply to the Canadian Forces, you must meet the following three minimum requirements:

    Be a Canadian Citizen

Be 17 years of age (with parental or guardian consent) or older, except:
Regular Officer Training Plan – Junior applicants, who must be 16 years of age or older

Meet the minimum education requirements for your desired military occupation:
Grade 10 or Secondaire IV in Quebec, and additional educational prerequisites as specified by the occupation

So, yes, you are a suitable applicant.

No, I am just looking for an opinion.

Why not wait until the CFRC dealing with your application gets back too you?  Their opinion is what is going to matter in regards to your application.

Why do you want random people off the website to confirm in their opinion that you would be suitable?

Anyways,  yes going off what you posted I'm sure you would be suitable,  at least enough too apply.  The interview,  CFAT, and medical is what is going to decide if you are suitable for the CF or not.
