Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows where to get an Iltis fuel pump. My friend is trying to fix up an Iltis that he bought, and all he needs is the fuel pump. So far no luck.

Does anyone happen to know where I'd be able to find one?

Here are a couple of places that can definitely help you out.
Out of Edmonton. I purchased an Iltis at an auction out there last August, and found out about these guys.

Good Luck and let us know how it turns out.

Try a Volkwagen Dealership.

That won't work...It's a Bombardier item.

It's a 24V facet pump, I got mine here...http://www.aircraftspruce.ca/catalog/eppages/facetpumps.php

worx great

Perhaps 24v parts would be hard to find, but the engine is a VW engine.  Most mechanical parts should be found in a VW dealership's parts department.......much like the VW grill on the front of your Iltis photo.  ;D  The Iltis after all is a VW product, built/assembled under licence by Bombardier.

24v parts could likely be found in Germany and other nations that have used the Iltis, if you searched long enough on the internet.

I'm just saying that the VW mechanical pump wasn't used on the CDN Iltis, they used an electric facet pump, so for ease of replacement, might as well go with the electric pump.

Besides, vw hasn't used the mechanic pumps since the late 70's so you'll never find them at the dealer.
