Steenwijk is a little place in the northern part of Holland and was liberated by the Canadians on 13 april 1945. In that time till about 30 april 1945 there was also a small unit in the Pasmanfactory , nearby the railway station and had their office in it for perhaps administration or making war dyaries .  They wore halfround pins with a metal edge with upon the coulors hardlightblue and yellow. Their uniforms were from fine smooth material and perhaps they were a string on the uppersleeve. Who knows wich unit this was or what sort of unit this was?

Do you have a photo?
We a have a few members here who collect and study Canadian Military Uniforms and a photo would help alot.( A picture is worth a thousand words)
