Guys I really didn't know where to post this. I am looking for a large cadpat magnet, now when i talk large I mean large. My brother is a toolpush or as they call them now a rig manager and he wants to put it on his rig out in the good old Alberta oil patch. Any one got any ideas?

Well, here in Edmonton, the ribbons that one sees on cars (which are pretty big) are available at the MFRC...

i Think she wants a GIANT one that could be put on top of an oil rig and see from far like a giant billboard

Teddy and everyone else I am looking for like four feet in height. Or if anyone has any idea's on how to make one. Fake cadpat I can get but its the magnetic material I cant figure out.I know the MFRC has the small ones,I have two on my truck thats where brother got the idea. I must say brother gets some brain waves, not always good ones but brain waves the same.

He wants to place cadpat ribbon beside rig sign.

I'd say a big-ass magnet is probably not the best idea. I'm no expert, but I'd say a big vinyl "sticker" would probably work better--think of designs on cars, that's how it's done and they're rather easy to peel off but at the same time they don't wear too easily.

any suggestions on where to get my hands on one? need something that will stay there but can be taken off and put back on when rig is moved.

I'd assume companies that make signs would be a safe bet. You might check car shops that specialize in exterior design--even if they don't want to make the vinyl sticker themselves, they'll be able to point you to a company that'll be able to.

The problem with this idea is that although it's not terribly hard to remove, it normally isn't something you can put back. But if you check out a commercial signs company, they'll probably be able to tell you what the best solution is.

I believe sign companies might be able to make you magnetic ones that are large.  I say this because a friend of mine had signage put on his truck a few years ago and he went through a sign company to do so.
It was quite large as it covered the whole side of the truck...it was magnetic and removable...
Don't know if you would get into any copyright issues???  Have no idea but the possible exists...

All the best Military Granny

Yo Granny,

Try here:
http://flagshop.com/

They don't have exactly what you want, but they make money by selling stuff- bet they'd make you a flag, sticker, whatever.

I have dealt with them, no hesitation in recommending them.

Good luck- Garry
