My Father served with the 11 Field Amb in the SB section under the command of Lieut. Matt Cooper in Normandy.
Cpl. Phillips was killed while being medevac'd. The jeep amb was struck by a Cdn tank during dark and dusty conditions.
My father rode in a defrocked Priest at the tail end of the armoured assualt that carried the Royal Regiment of Canada as they broke through the Jerry defences during OP TOTALIZE.

I am interested in joining the Canadian Army and am currently on the "Ready for Competition" list. I would like to know how long this step typically takes before receiving an offer.

Additionally, I am applying for the Financial Services Administrator role. Could you please provide information on the rank I would be assigned upon completing basic training and occupational training in this field?

I received a telephone call to schedule an appointment nearly four weeks after submitting my online application. However, the timing of your call largely depends on the workload at your recruiting center. If there isn't a long queue, you may be contacted sooner. Keep your fingers crossed and watch your phone closely.
