Israeli strikes on Iran (2024, 2025, etc.)

Ok thanks! I’m going for lunch now, but first I think we should not surrender until we see what happens with the Oilers tonight. After that we may be too depressed to fight anyway.

Canada declared war on the US and we are now being asked to Surrender Unconditionally. We are hoping for an aid package afterwards that we can use towards meeting the new NATO 3.5% target.
If it's on the interwebs, it MUST be true, right? LOL!!!!

In all seriousness, though, here's ISW's latest (info cutoff 0600E today) - highlights ....
  • Israel has continued striking Iranian military targets, especially sites tied to the Iranian missile program. Israel has also struck a target with ties to the Iranian chemical weapons program.
  • Israel conducted a strike killing the newly appointed commander of the Khatam ol Anbia Central Headquarters, which is responsible for joint and wartime operations.
  • Iran has conducted five additional missile attacks targeting Israel. All five attacks had a relatively small volume of fire, possibly demonstrating how degraded Iranian missile forces are.

Actually lets have Winnipeg sign Marchand before we surrender. So that may eat up a few days.

And lets see if we can nationalize Popeye's Chicken too.

The IDF has put out an evacuation warning for District 18 in Tehran.

"in the coming hours the IDF will take action in this area, as it has done in recent days around Tehran, to attack the military infrastructure of the Iranian regime. Dear citizens, for your safety and health, we ask you to leave the designated area immediately. Your presence in this area endangers your lives."

And curiously, the Embassy in Jerusalem will be closed from the 18th-20th.

Spike Missiles That Destroyed Air Defenses From Inside Iran Were Remotely Operated

“Iranian intelligence forces have discovered customized Spike missile launchers…designed to suppress Iran’s air defenses, equipped with internet-based automation and remote control systems,” the official Iranian Press TV news outlet reported on Telegram on Monday. “They were operated by terrorist Mossad agents.”

Trump's Iran dilemma exposes bitter split in president's circle

Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell said it had "been kind of a bad week for the isolationists" in the party.

"What's happening here is some of the isolationist movement led by Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon are distressed we may be helping the Israelis defeat the Iranians," McConnell told CNN.

Other warhawks in the party are egging on Trump to target Iran.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham said it was in the national security interests of the US to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear bomb. Tehran maintains its nuclear programme is for peaceful, civilian purposes such as energy.

"President Trump understands the threat the ayatollah [Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei] presents to us, not just Israel, and that he will, at the end of the day, help Israel finish the job," Graham told Fox News.

Vice-President JD Vance, seeking to bridge the divide, said in a social media post that Trump "may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment".
