Finland officially withdraws from Ottawa landmine treaty

On Saturday, January 10, Finland officially withdrew from the Ottawa Convention prohibiting anti-personnel landmines. — Ukrinform.

They join Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine.

That suggests a reconstruction of the Iron Curtain but further east. A continuous belt from the North Cape on the Arctic to Odessa on the Black Sea.
