Well, when your dealer becomes less than fully reliable, that's always an option.
Maybe not the way some think, if they're thinking about Trump. The Obama and Biden administrations put Israel on notice, by a combination of hostility to Israel and overtures to Iran. They have to know another Democratic administration will be coming in, probably, 3 to 7 years.

There is a fair bit of public anger at the amount of money Israel gets from the US, the fact that Israel spends the majority of that on US products, provides critical intel and does much of the US dirty work, is lost on them.

🤔 The only nation in the world that reprogrammed its own F-35s…I suspect Netanyahu has read Trump’s Art of the Deal a few times. I sense America plussing up its contributions to Israel in the not so far future…

Makes sense. The US is no longer reliable for basically anybody. In the case of Australia, they have to reasonably expect that when the democrats are eventually elected, political sentiment will probably dictate a substantial reduction if not entire cessation of aid to Israel. It would be wise to begin planning for and acting on this now.

Wow, I meant Israel. Why did I type Australia..?

Is it Israel doing a lot of the dirty work for the US?

Or is it the US supporting them as they go anout dirty business?

I suspect it's a mutually beneficial relationship.

but I would love to see what Israel would be like without Netanyahu in charge...he's been PM of Israel literally since I was in grade school.
