As I recall the last LPC caucus revolt on this file was in the the other direction when the anti-'s pushed farther than popular opinion would take with Chiang amendment. Seems like public sentiment is building that way on the confiscation. My read is that there's a public opinion split on "concept" of the listed firearms being banned (majority indifference), vice immediate human impact of the confiscation and ban (growing proportional showing frustration at the injustice and waste). Tough road to hoe for a PM that would rather focus on the global picture and economy.

Honestly, it kind of upsets me you think I'm lying about my support for Tim Houston (or about anything for that matter). You live here too, you know how great he's doing, and I don't think the type of atmosphere we have on this site would invite the type of people that WOULDN'T support Tim Houston. But beyond that, why would I lie to you about it? I've given a "like" to every post about a different jurisdiction that has declared no-support for the buy back.

Hey so a bit off topic, but:

I was going to make an account and ask this on CGN but you've all scared me from even going near that site.

I've looking for a CVA Cascade, but none of the stores/sites I've checked for it seem to sell it in the calibre I'm looking for, even though I've watched tons of reviews online (of Americans) using it in that calibre.

In general, if the major outlets in Canada don't have the calibre you're looking for, even though it's common in the States, are you hooped or is it possible to get those calibres some other way?

If you stick to the specific forums for the firearm type you're interested in the site is a goldmine, but if you dip a toe in the political side it's an absolute cesspit.
