Turkey being a NATO "Ally" is a strong word, Erdoğan is only allied to Erdoğan and what is in his interests and that appears to be Ottoman 2.0

I've been to Turkey many times. Almost all of my many many tattoos come from one particular parlor there called Marmaris Art Tattoo.

It is not a place I would ever spend my own money to visit. If they are an ally one must use the weakest definition of ally to include them under that term.

Turkey isn't going to "break up".

The three countries with the major portions of what might be "Kurdistan" have all behaved egregiously towards Kurds, well beyond the kinds of indifference or insult that occasionally have Canadian sovereigntists/separatists sniveling and preparing manifestos. Those three countries have lost any moral claim to some kind of courtesy. Canada officially as a NATO member can say what it wants with respect to Turkey, but what Canada wants to say isn't binding on ordinary people.
