All Things AB Separatism (split fm Liberal Minority Government 2025 - ???)

Since the 1940's
Then, as USSR 1.0 :)
Anyone not aware of who Storm 1516 is likely would brush this off, this group is a major player in disinformation. Its their entire job, these are the people who started the whole Kamala Harris hit and run story, and the story on mail in ballot fraud, not to mention multiple deep fakes targeting ukraine. This isnt some guy in his mother basement. Its a unit of Russian Military intelligence

For those who don't trust Canadian or European institutions worried about Russia, even the U.S. considers Storm 1516 a problem: an excerpt:

Late add: Even Canada's Senate says Russia's got shenanigans going on ...

Nothing to see here, I guess ...

So as it happens Mr. Sandhu has an extensive history with David Parker, founder of the Centurion Project.

UCP staffer appears to have been more than just 'observing' the doxxing of Jason Kenney

Smith now admits multiple staffers were on the call, but claims it was regular oversight. Yet none of them raised a red flag of every one on the call seeing Jason Kenny's personal information (Reportedly Rachel Notley's too). In the past, this kind of scandal has brought down governments.

All these UCP staffers in attendance, yet claimed earlier that it's somehow the ANDP's job/fault for not reporting it to her before going to Elections Alberta and the RCMP?

Meanwhile, no excuses now.

Though there seems to be a belief that the UCP really will use it as a referendum vote, with the validity of the separatist petition signatures now being a massive question mark. Letting MLA's dodge having to make any separatist leanings public.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Lukaszuk said he is convinced the UCP government will put the question to a referendum, despite him explicitly saying he wants it to be voted on in the legislature.

“It is just unfortunate that our premier, our government and duly elected MLAs just don’t have the fortitude — frankly, don’t have the guts to stand up in the chamber in the legislature and declare whether they’re separatists or not,” Lukaszuk said.

With the level of stink rising per day, I think Smith might use this as the off ramp.

Before she got caught with the UCP hands in the cookie jar, I would have said the opposite.

There was a fair point made on The Line last week- we should absolutely expect that the government would have someone dialed in to a call like that that’s opened up to the public and at least half paying attention. It would be negligent of the government not to sign in and see what such an impactful movement is saying to the public. So, the bare fact of party staffers having been on the call doesn’t bother me… But, it’s absolutely in play for assessing who knew what, when, and it should have been obvious that there was a personal information problem, and that should have been communicated up the chain immediately. The government cannot plausibly claim ignorance, or that it was someone else’s fault for not flagging it sooner.

1 staffer sure, but multiple? Seems a little much

David Parker refuses to cooperate with investigators........shocked I say.....shocked

David Parker, the political organizer behind the Centurion Project, is stonewalling Elections Alberta, according to a statement from the head of the agency.

“I can confirm David Parker is not cooperating with the investigation and he has refused to sign a statutory declaration confirming that he will comply with my direction to cease and desist with respect to the list of electors,” Gordon McClure, Alberta’s chief electoral officer, said in a statement to The Globe and Mail.

Mr. Parker did not respond to messages late Monday afternoon. He previously stated he would co-operate with investigators, including those at Elections Alberta.

Well I mean good luck with that.

Other than maybe delaying things a little, I can't imagine there's a way out of this for him. The RCMP has a separate investigation going.

As for ignoring the C&D the code for the app is still on their site with the UI hidden from public view, it's all still very much there. I wouldn't be surprised if the electors data is sitting on their WIX account in a JSON file.
