New era begins as 3 Commando Brigade to be officially known as the UK Commando Force

A new era for the Royal Marines has arrived and to reflect their bold modernisation 3 Commando Brigade is to be known officially as the UK Commando Force, as announced by His Majesty The King.

With a Royal Marine as First Sea Lord it's probably a recognition that they'll expand far beyond a Brigade in size ...

I think it already is with all those new specialized commandos. As well, 40, 42, and 45 abandoned a conventional infantry structure a few years back.

I’m not sure whose interests Starmer and their treasury are serving, but it’s not the British.

If there's 1 country that has fucked up more than us (and the US) over the decade+, its the Brits. Their house is truly on fire.

The one positive thing that I see in the UK on this issue and one or two others, is their Ministers do take a stand and will challenge the PM and resign rather than be the message boy. They don’t seem to protect the boss, unlike the political arm of the syndicates that run this country (and for the large part, replicated in its confederate provinces).
