This entire spat is about Hegemony. The current U.S. administration and a substantial portion of the American population, don't like the direction Canada has taken. Everything from immigration, cozzying up to China, digital taxes, protectionism, lack of investment in defence and security, environmental policy differences, etc...
There is decades of material on this very site that warned that this would eventually come to pass if our trajectory didn't change. Well, that moment is finally here.
The only way you can shape and change behavior? Apply consequences.

Doug has to climb out of that crippling shell of shyness and truly share with us how he feels.
While I consider Ford somewhat of a buffoon, this needs to be a Canadian heritage moment.

The Iranian Canadian joint action on the American oil market will be devastating for Americans at the pumps.
Unfortunately there is the referendum on whether to have a referendum in October which will give Carney pause.
