Houthi Red Sea Blockade

Al Jazeera is a lot more credible reporting than many Western ones, unless your looking for Palestinian casualties

I heard or read that the further away the reporting is from Qatar, the more objective it is.

Mind you, that was before western journalism went to complete shite because they failed to adapt their business model to the Internet.

I will argue, anything of interest to the Qatar government becomes suspect, if it falls outside of that, it not generally worth twisting.

It has not been a good year for the F-15.

Or is it a case that F-15s are accumulating more hours than other platforms, and therefore are at a greater risk of being damaged? With F-35 availability under 45%, you're going to be flying other airframes a lot to compensate.

Taking the moral and political spins out of this...

Why do people not expect to take losses in a fight ? Imagine if the news, in 1943, made a story out of every spitfire or B17 that was shot down...

Food for thought 37% of the B17s produced were destroyed.

Except that operation air hours in theatre are significantly skewed towards the F-35.

Bit more this, interesting the Houthis have said they honour their agreement not to attack US shipping, they are effectively dividing and conquering. Along with this they are moving fast in the NE against militas there.

Not all of us are doomscrolling army dot ca on our phones in a SCIF while reading detailed operational information on classified systems ;)
I did that once.
In my defense I had no idea that office (of the mutual Mustache) at the Pentagon was a SCIF

But under this administration it’s par for the course. As long as didn’t mean to invite the wrong guy to the Signal group call…

The Air Force has admitted in briefings that they are using the F-35 more, and for all the deeper airspace intrusions (or whatever they call those missions).
