Trump administration 2024-2028

Sounds like Canadian travellers will have to use the “Out and about on a boat” test on other Canucks who are suspect. 🤣

Recently, I asked a guy in the UK how he could tell us apart and he replied: "Canadians aren't c*nts." ;)

California was never a suitable launch sight for all but polar orbits (see Vandenberg) or for that matter Starships intended purpose. The land Spacex has acquired in Louisiana could be bought for the price of a few pickup trucks.
Or even a few pickup trucks never mind the price

I suspect California was a launch point because that where the aerospace companies were.
C3 posting is click bait. California was never an option for Starship.
Yes, Spacex started in California because that is a major centre for engineering.
California is where the Falcon 9 rockets and Dragon spacecraft are manufactured. The bulk is shipped to Cape Canaveral Florida where they can be launched eastward over the ocean without worry of malfunctioning over populated areas. The rare launches in California are from Vandenberg Space Force Base where rockets launch south (not over land).
Elon Musk has already indicated that once Starship goes into production that Falcon 9 would become redundant to Starship.
Given the massive size of Starship , it must be vertically manufactured near a launch site. Presently, all Starships are produced at the Boca Chica (Texas) launch site. Boca Chica and Canaveral will probably wind down once Starbase Louisiana becomes fully operational. Boca Chica isn’t suitable for the scale of operations that Musk envisions for the future.
