Hey gun nerds, SA 15.7 or 15.7 IUR franken gun?

IUR is a cool idea but unfortunately it's a heavy piglet and has proprietary parts. I'd personally go the SA 15.7 way and knock off the front sight gas block, replace it with a low profile gas block and slip a lightweight free floating hand guard on it. I am still waiting to see CC release...

    Anti-Zombie kit.

223 Remington (with a 223 Wylde chamber) was the only option so far. They were figuring out if they wanted to produce a 204 Ruger but not decided yet. Easiest way to swap calibers would be buying several uppers.

    Anti-Zombie kit.

Lugging multiple barrel assemblies and bolts in the hope of foraging for 6 different calibers doesn't? What is this? A scavenger hunt or an anti zombie kit? :P

    Anti-Zombie kit.

    I have oodles of it.

    Anti-Zombie kit.

Swapping calibers would be marginally interesting if you didn't lose your zero in the process. Waiting for ATRS Modern Varmint.

    C7A2 Opinions ??

Quite right. The magazine is the Achilles heel of any magazine-fed semi auto.

    C7A2 Opinions ??

Yes. It is painful to see it happen. Well, in a single phrase I would answer ''do nothing that can damage the finish, fit and function.'' I always gladly answer any follow-up questions on an individual basis.

    C7A2 Opinions ??

Ditto. Improper/unorthodox maintenance techniques take their toll.
