Instead of using a razor to shave your beret...you could buy one of those fuzz shavers and use that instead.  Cost me about 10 bucks and runs on a C battery.  Works well to keep the fuzz down and quick as well.

I stand corrected.  Comms crse is something I'd like to take this summer.  I was told on my BMQ that the 522s programmed the 521s.  It didn't help that I didn't use either outside the classroom.

522s are the backpack style radios.  big box w/ a display and keypad.  I BELIEVE they are used to program the smaller 521s.

I was told by a Capt. of my unit that IF this were ever to happen, it would follow 31CER's example.  Using the brigade # then CER.

Another Crimson Tide, B Coy here. I was wearing the goretex boots (w/ black and green sock) on that ex and they were very warm except when i didn't move for a while.  Sweat freeze.  Boy did that suck.  Like what foerestedwarrior said, powder 'em up and they should be fine.
