Hi Misfit. No he couldn't do the distance in a required amount of time. He came up short. That happened the fourth day into Basic. Sixteen of them didn't pass.

Could someone out there please give me a breakdown of payroll deductions for a recruit in training. I am curious to hear how much it is per pay for rations, lodgings etc. I am aware that a 'pay stub' is not given out to each individual with their bi-weekly pay. Why is that?

Its not that easy now. If you fail the running in the endurance test(1st week of basic) you are put in pat platoon til only God knows when .

If you apply for VR can you a few days later change your mind?? 

If you fail the first test you can redo iy three months later. I know this for a fact.

Well we just got a call......he is going to take remedial training after all and start BMQ inJuly. He said he is committed until the CF doesnt want him anymore. He made up his own mind with no pressure. Yipee!!!!!  :salute:No pain ..No gain !!!!!
