People should calm down.  Everyone will eventually wear the Div patches and qualification patches.  But they have to be contracted and manufactured.  What the senior Comd Teams are wearing for Div patches are intern DEU patches with velcro sewn on, they are not the final product.  And I know...

All it says basically is "Beard policy change....MTF"  I for one can't wait, we have had these WW2/Korea era archaic policies that if your soldiers aren't shaving, how do you know they are staying clean in the field?  Which is totally a leadership issue that you don't need to punish everyone...

From the pictures I've seen 1 CER is driving their E-LAV's which are capable of some Combat Engineer tasks, but that is not what RCMP E Division has requested, they simply need help with security tasks.  Now all the deploying pers are level 3 firefighter trained, so if needed they could help...

No we don't need to let every NCM be a CWO, but the pyramid narrows a lot more from MWO to CWO than it does for Maj to LCol.  And increasing the number of MWO has its own problems, in the RCEME Corps we are already dealing with having just as many MWO as WO, due to many staff positions needing...

Yes I understand what KP/SA CWO wear :-/  450 may seem like a lot...but I'm betting its no were close to the number of GOFO/Col/LCol, and we seem to have no issues employing officers in staff positions, but its not ok to have CWO in non command roles.  And I'm not saying all those officer jobs...
