If you want something smaller, I used the Advancer V12s, and although they look like swimming goggles, they worked really well for me.  Good alternative.

Could not agree more.  All the organizations currently present seem to be working on their own agendas, tugging the proverbial bed sheets.  I would even add that there are still too many people present there only for their own personnal careers.  Furthermore, the ever present "fragile"...

Hehehe so funny. buddha, I sold my 552 to my buddy in my section, and he's been using it on his short barreled C9 for the last 5 months here in Kandahar and is quite satisfied, and doesn't have issues with the zero.  Besides, like Infidel said, zero is very relative on a belt fed.

Being on the PRT myself, all we get is the generic PRT patch with the Afghan/Canadian flags pin.  But I did see some sub units around having their own patches made.  Saw this cool one with the Autobots sign.

MG34:  Yeah I can understand that point.  Honestly I have no idea where the problem is coming from.  My direct superiors support us for using "proper" gear, but there's a few people getting charged about it.  We try as much as we can, but it's not going up obviously.  It's quite frustrating...

Well if it's anything like us, C8's are going to be for office jockeys.  Infantry types don't need them apparently. 

Some CWO somewhere didn't have any fancy holster, and ordered the entire TF to use Bianchi's POS, and now everyone gets charged left and right for using proper holsters. 

With all this rail talk, anyone has a good alternative for C7 rails with an issued M203?  I would've liked the KAS rails, but can't attach the M203 with them.  Unless I'd go with an M203 rail attachment systems.  Anyone has ideas?  I'm looking in Infidel's general direction... hehe Also, MG34...
