Thanks..however I see that its quite specific in the FAQ's:
"To be eligible, all NATO personnel must present a AE Form 600-700 (USAREUR Privilege & Identification Card) upon check-in."
I'm sure that is only for those posted to a NATO installation in Europe. What I'm looking for basically...
I searched for this but came up empty. Does anyone know if we Canucks can use the American Forces Rec Centers, i.e. Garmisch, Orlando, and Hawaii ?? Their terms of Ref basically state otherwise, however sometimes local policies are flexible.
Thanks
I am a member of Veterans Canada m/c club. In May we plan a run to Washington, DC to take part in Rolling Thunder. I have proposed while there we visit Arlington to pay respects to the Canadians buried there, including the US Medal of Honor winners. I have also proposed we bring a bit of Cdn...
I'm having a memory alert here: Does anyone recall hearing about a Que-based soldier refusing to board the plane to Afghanistan? I know (or think I do) I saw that somewhere, maybe 3-5 years ago.
(I hope I posted this in the correct forum).
Thanks
If you're getting arrested or a ticket etc, the member will either be in Black pj's or identify him/herself with badge and credentials. The Red beret is NOT a indicator of the authority.
So if history is a guide, the Res MP will only be issued his/her badge while employed in a position that requires it ? Contract or tasking is over, badge is taken until next time ??
C'est correct ??
"Unfortunately, I fell into a very nice job and thought I had life by the balls, but then the economy tanked"...
Now that you've had this experience, would you do it all over again ?? Or would you learn from it ??? (There's many like you who have gone thru this same dark road)
That's the way I read it...however they are playing too loose with the rules (as there really are none to speak of). The CO has to sign off, but, and a big BUT, he's the one making the decisions to cut his "payroll". Talk about a gross conflict of interest.
Did a search but couldn't find an answer.
With all the "cuts" ongoing, is there a policy that extends injured soldier's contracts due to military service injuries, at least until said condition is rectified? QR&O 34 was no help.
References??
Thanks
A Pte (R) could not have done a worse job on this whole farce. Heads should roll on this, and those heads should be wearing maple leaves an cross-swords.
this might not be a popular response for some on here, but I think the Reservists should say NO for this...after getting screwed over by CLS budget cuts...what goes around comes around...
No one expects you, or anyone else, to be 100% perfect. Apparently there was only one perfect person..and they crucified him...my point: this is quite minor and I'd be very surprised if this held you back....that is if what you say IS the whole story.
