    NCdt DEU lace versus Braid

Is the lace for the shoulder boards on the short sleeve dress? Is that also what the screw post button is for?

    NCdt DEU lace versus Braid

What is the difference between the lace and the braid of my deu? Which one do I put on my sleeves, and what do I do with the other one?

Thank you Also I found a belt buckle in one of my pouches, the fannypack, on the inside... Well it wasn't mine, I wasn't issued one, it was my friends

    medical rejection/appeal

From what I understand you've been denied by the RMO? It'll say on your rejection letter and you'll be (to my knowledge) able to appeal, and your doctor will have to sign off that whatever problem is flagged (it says mental assesment, so I assume for ADHD?) is no longer an issue.

    FORCE Sandbag drag

That's pretty much what happened... I was about 100 lbs and 5'4 when I failed and spent all my energy... I think I'm strong enough because the two other times I passed and it was fine, and after my dp1 I'm definitely stronger; I think it's just a self esteem issue or something, but no harm in...

Religion in Schools (split fm Islamic Terrorism)

If you you think Catholic schools are bad, my friend went to mormon school (well, it's not officially mormon but everyone in Cardston is mormon) and it didn't sound like the provincial curriculum is being upheld. All the science is messed up and most of the stuff they learn is from the Mormon...

Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

They were Infantry DP1 trained... maybe it's a training thing, because on my DP1 I had courses thaught straight from the EO/PO's verbatim, obviously first time reading it... I think it was something about brass hitting the ground, and like you were supposed to know how far away someone was from...

Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

Maybe in Ontario, but where I'm from I don't see anything else. All (except maybe 1) of the units I know of were this way. I know that there are good and bad units, but a reservist is trained to go on deployment, and when I see DP1 qualified guys not know how many are in a section or platoon...

    FORCE Sandbag drag

    FORCE Sandbag drag

Does anyone have any good exercises to improve your sandbag drag scores? The first time I did my FORCE test I fell backward 1ft before the end of the 20m, and I felt really stupid, but now that I've done my BMQ and RQ INF PTE it's not a problem anymore, but I still get really worn out from it...

Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

I've met some RegF guys, like a demoted (Sgt to Mcpl) on my course. Called everyone f**s, didn't seem to do much of anything but whinge and complain. I don't think he knew either, because every time someone made a mistake he'd just say that they were stupid and not try to explain whatsoever...

Canada moves to 2% GDP end of FY25/26 - PMMC

My friend (we are both infantry) calls the reserves a "failed experiment." The reason why my friend (and many others) think that PRes is a "failed experiment" is not for one reason, but rather a combination of a lot of bad factors. When you have Sgt's that have only been in for 4 years, they...

    Rucksack belt buckle

I've tried... Part of the reason I want to go Regs... had to do my infantry dp1 with a pants belt duct taped to my ruck... that with a c6 and frag vest was no fun

    Rucksack belt buckle

does anyone know where I can buy a belt buckle for the CADPAT rucksack? Specifically the large ones for the hip belt? currently I have a pants belt duct taped to where it would go. QM doesn't wanna give me a new one... This is the same QM that made me go to Inuvik with a 3xl parka (I'm an XS)

    PRes CT to ROTP

Ah okay. It's just that If I was a Pte(T) and moved to ROTP I'd still be on pte. pay but since I'm not (and not going to) I'm gonna get Ocdt pay 😕 Thanks.

    PRes CT to ROTP

Hello, I am currently a Pte. (B) in PRes trying to go to ROTP. The problem is, from what I understand, to keep a pte. pay level, you must be a Pte. (T). The issue is that I won't be doing my DP1 because I'm going to ROTP. I came across something very interesting, however, that is in CFAO 6-1...
