Right now it looks like the only medal that could be awarded under the current reg is the CPSM (30 day cumulative service) The SSM could be issued if the mission was declared a Humanitarian mission which requires only 30 Days. If it is declared a peacekeeping mission then 180 days are...

    Afghan Medals Process (merged)

Maybe you should join the boy scouts and collect merit badges. If your going on tour to receive the gongs your priorities are screwed up. The job is about being the quiet professional and hopefully someone will notice. I have taken more pride in the locals saying "thank you" than the pieces of...

Holding Class B jobs for reservists that go on tour (Split: 220 Reservists Needed for TF 03-06)

Maybe this can be change by going to a pool system where a pers desiring a call out would be placed in a National/Regional pool. Then qualified pers can be applied to a specific job and not people applying for the choice/specfic jobs and disregarding the humdrum positions. Smaller communities it...

Holding Class B jobs for reservists that go on tour (Split: 220 Reservists Needed for TF 03-06)

They should return back to their units and pass this experience on to their counterparts, not return back to the driver task, HQ's, etc. This would also allow other Reservists that want Class B employment to be given the opprotunity/to gain experience. If there is no one that can fill this...

Holding Class B jobs for reservists that go on tour (Split: 220 Reservists Needed for TF 03-06)

Seems to be wanting your cake and eating it too. If a person is concerned about losing his Career Class B he should just join the Regs.

    MAV Study Focus Group Post

    1.    I think that is the easiest may to go, the preflight planing would have to be 3-D (Hopefully via Sat imaging) to take advantage of the tactical movement of the MAV. If it did have the AI to follow the map of the grd without instuction would be great and eliminate the need of the controller...

Maybe a Hybrid type engine both conventional/battery/solar panel? as for range. how would it fit into the ISTAR plan/ Surveillance plan. I think the 2 km or less at the section level would be good. Are they not have problems in Iraq with the problem of coordination of all the UAV/Aircraft.

CF Transformation & the Operational Commands (Merged)

Another layer of Command? How is this cutting red tape. Will these "units"  report directly to him? or through the C ocf C anready in place. If the current C of C is ineffective or cumbersome, fix it, streamline, but not add to it. CDS-Area-Unit, what is the problem?

For us, it was color coded symbols (Blue=Fr, Red=En, Green=Obs, etc), such as circles, squares, trianlges, etc and when you taped on the symbol a data window (with description, Grid, Speed etc) poped up.

    MAV Study Focus Group Post

Here are a few notes, I lost my original post. This is such a large topic I will concentrate for now on the most common denominator the Controller interface. I think that a head mounted interface is not the way to go. Everybody likes to add equipment to the head because they think it is...
