My point exactly.
They can't do anything to verify anything so why involve them?
Same "photocopy of a document/piece of ID proving eligible service" could be provided directly to the Ministry of Transportation by the veteran.
Funny thing about the Legion is when they have Stolen Valour case amongst their members they claim they don't have access to military records but get paid to verify people as veterans for license plates. ::)
Social media easily shows we do have racial problems here in Canada and the Forces are not exempt.
I've seen comments from some I've served with that would have never have been openly stated within the service.
But as they are no longer serving they lay on the racist comments.
In no way am I...
Windsor or Ipperwash. To the best of my knowledge all basic weekend courses during those times were done in Ipperwash for units in London Militia District.
As long as the government doesn't legally require time off for training this will continue to occur.

Quickest I seen was a MSE OP at CFB London.
He was detailed to drive the Base RSM to Hamilton for a mess diner.
After dropping off the Base RSM he proceeded to get drunk and write off the staff car.
Now RSM didn't know why his return ride never showed up.
He was shuttled back to London by...
Am I the only one who thinks this thread isn't right?
First off the OP has not disclosed any personal military background but is only here to sell things to our government.
Not the purpose of this forum.
And certainly not part of the "Personal Locator" description.
Maybe I'm missing something as no civilian court judge would ever agree to hear a case of anyone they personally know, or even more so their former direct supervisor.
No ruling would escape a serious court challenge.
Hell even a juror is automatically removed by the judge if they admit to...
Meaning changes greatly when you drop the first part of the quote.
It said "that could be deemed to be offensive".
The "that could be" changes the whole meaning. Far more inclusive.
But for some reason you knew that.
