I have seen these in the past, but doubted their quality. You say that you used them in the field? What was the quality of the pictures you took, did they turn out allright? What was the brand name/specs for the ones that worked for you?

I wear my discs all the time now as well, just to avoid losing then when you need them. Every time we go for a jump, the JM's inspect us to ensure we are wearing them and have removed or taped down all jewelry / watches for safety reasons. I have seen guys grounded by the JM for not having ID...

There are Mock Towers at Petawawa and Trenton, I have used both. I believe 32 feet is the standard.

I assume you are referring to the "Mock Tower", although I do like the way you put it also.. Mach tower, priceless. In my experience, I was very surprised at how many people we lost on the Mock tower. There were some very competent, fit and keen soldiers that simply could not manage the tower...

No idea about the Cadet Pre-para course, but the basic para pt test on day 1 of your Bpara at Trenton is a pretty flat stretch from the CPC hangar, up the road, around the corner and back. ENJOY!

You can usually get 550 cord at almost any Surplus store, but why buy it when your QM will give it out for free? Have you tried asking for it or AD REP for it through your Sect. 2ic?

80 lbs test is cord used in parachuting and yes you can jump if you have had laser surgery.
