My two cents is RWS are not panacea. Controlling the being below the lay of the gun is a major pain the ass. Its even more of a pain in the ass when the gunner is also the CC like in Stryker/ACSV setups. You lose a lot of SA with systems like that.
Will the loss of 3 Strike Eagles make any sort of noticeable difference in regards to SEAD assets in the region? Strike Eagles are what the Wild Weasels fly, right?
Seems Harir may have a Reaper contingent. That might have been a very expensive explosion if that was a Hellfire mag.
As an aside apparently Delta Force maintains a small presence there.
Unsure of the veracity but I figured this is worth posting here. Scary if true. Oil tanker struck in Straits of Hormuz.

The only thing I can think of beyond them just flailing this they are trying to deplete stocks of interceptors in the region before more coordinated strikes. That or the willy nilly stuff is deception to distract from something else.
My money is on flailing.
As a crewman I still dont see where CV90120 fits. Ive thought about our Second World War Reconnaissance Regiment and I guess they can fit in a similar role as the 6 pounders then (regimental DFS) but I dont know if the juice is really worth the squeeze. Autocannons and missiles would be plenty...
That radar dome getting hit looks expensive. Credit where its due, Shaheds really are an Iranian stroke of genius. Low cost and effective as hell. Every $4,000,000 patriot missile used on a $30,000 shahed is one not being used on a future missile strike.
Naval infantry sounds like a good role for a "break glass in case of emergency" light infantry regiment thats being stood. Doesnt need to be the USMC but the Royal Marines are a fantastic analogue.
The armour of a modern Western MBT is very different than the armour of a 50 year old T72. The very fact a tank was alone without a fireteam partner and no intimate support in an urban area is what killed that tank, not the 25mm per se. In our doctrine that Bradley would have bern dead by round...
