You will be taken off your BMQ.  When you were enrolled you should have been told that you would have been yanked quickly if your medical raised any red flags.  When you get the letter from a shrink you can re-apply as your file will now be medically closed.

Mine took 2 months the first time (rejection) the second time it took 3 weeks and came back clear.

When I had my second kick at the can I had to re-do all tests save the CFAT and med part 1, however my file was closed from august to december.

How long has it been since they sent our your letter?   Remember that your letter goes first class mail, your file itself goes parcel; so it may take a while to get to your CFRC.

What do you mean by progression in the mech units?   More ops or training? So, you would have mech inf re-roled into light for a period of time while deployed?   If mech unit have recurring problems with mobility on deployments then why send them over at all?   Wouldn't it be more effective...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain to a ignorant civvie the difference between a mech and light infantry bn.  Are light bn's the same as mechs minus the ride?  If this has been discussed before I apoligize but I couldnt find anything on the search function.  Thanks in advance.
