I don’t believe that is factually correct. There is no discussion that I am aware of, of the light Bns being removed from the Regiments. People may have confused Regiments and Bdes. Not helped by the CA calling the new formation the Canadian Light Infantry Regiment.

I would like to see the CAF training plan to get all reg force officers and WOs or higher to BBB in the next 5 years while also expanding the force structures and integrating all the new equipment that all the services are bringing on line. It’s got to be one heck of an amazing plan.
