We don't pick things based on logistics. Elbows up is more important than not having oceans between your suppliers. That being said, there's no North American option so we're stuck with either the Pacific or Atlantic to cross for any parts.
Afghanistan, Bosnia, Cyprus, Golan Heights, like 5 different African UN missions, Latvia, Europe (UNIFIER), a bunch of SOF missions and probably a few more I dont have off the top of my head.
Anytime a land force is on the ground it holds terrain. Naval and Air power have great influence but...
Yet the Army is the only entity that can take and hold terrain. When you're serious about an area, you deploy land forces.
Thats an apples to watermelons comparison.
Not surprising. There's severe shortages in CA DEU as it transitions to the new pattern. Some common sizes have been out for over a year so if one in the crew can't get DEU it's a good call to go all CADPAT.
To exercise logistics, we should fly the entire 1 Can Div to Edmonton for the stand up parade. I look forward to the hilarity, TD money and beers to be had...
If the dress regulations mean anything anymore, its not permanent. If you're not on staff at the Infantry School you don't get to wear it.

Because both of those members get the same CD as a RegF member who spends 24/7/365 on call? Its the easiest way to do the math and quite honestly the whole goal is to incentivize real full time service to fill up the RegF slots.
Might be more up Mike's alley. I think being dropped from Ad Sense added (no pun intended) some side effects. Ad Sense is a pretty slick platform that lets you pick size and shape of ads.
Most of the time the adsense stuff is picked up by AI, without human judgement. For instance, it picked up obscene language in our thread about folks giving N@zi salutes which was universally against those morons. There's a manual review process but we did a bunch of our own AI-enabled clean up...
They've also updated the FAQ here: Improvements to compensation and benefits for the Canadian Armed Forces - Canada.ca
It now includes specifics on continuous service, reserve Cl A/B calculations, etc.
@Mike Bobbitt Post what you need cleaned up in the moderator area as some of us are on leave and bored. There's stuff in those megathreads pre-rule changes that likely is getting flagged by AI algorithms.
Your gaining unit CO should email your RMC CoC. Talk to your gaining unit Adjt. If those shorts put you out of sync with your peers, expect them to be annuals. It does happen.
I'm going to provide a little bit of radical candor here. Those short days are for someone on full strength of the unit driving the body for a calendar year. You're there to learn what you can prior to graduation from a real unit and not to milk short days. Take your RMC given leave and earn any...
