Check your private messages, also it will be dependent on your clearance level, if you have the appropriate clearance and requirements to be on the course (BMQ-L) you should be loaded. If you have both you can email the staff at the school and explain that your BTL coordinator is on leave etc etc.

A few more piece of info, the website is wrong about the training time, according to CFFSE website the QL3 is ~78 training days, so close to 4 months. After the QL3(DP1 or whatever it's called nowadays) you are likely to get posted to Ottawa, you can also request to stay in Kingston to be...

Primary Leadership Qualification Course (PLQ) Mega thread

Unfortunately they do SQ and PLQ-A, or whatever it's called this week. It seems to me they should do like the navy, train as required, no every purple trade will go to sea but they all have the potential to, yet we don't send them all on NETP.

Primary Leadership Qualification Course (PLQ) Mega thread

Question: I did basic back in 2001, now MS hard sea trade, PLQ qualified in 2013, if I were to remuster to a purple trade (comm rsch) that has to do PLQ-L how would it work once I get back into the promotion zone? Since I never did SQ, would I have to do SQ and then APLQ?

Flight Line Security - Afghanistan - Do I need to take my rucksack?

I presume that's what will happen to mine too, but still I decided to bring it, but only with one sleeping bag. Thanks to hiking I've got tons of real compression sack and manage to fit the sleeping bag in one and compress it to something manageable.

Flight Line Security - Afghanistan - Do I need to take my rucksack?

No, we had a short training in Winnipeg (3 weeks) where the ruck was required for the BFT, then the kit list we got, well we got two, one for HQ where the ruck is not listed, actually not much is listed beyond uniforms, PPE and tactical vest. The second list sounds very generic as it include...

Flight Line Security - Afghanistan - Do I need to take my rucksack?

Well I agree that it could apply to anyone deploying to KAF in a position not going outside the wire.

Flight Line Security - Afghanistan - Do I need to take my rucksack?

Well I'm about to be leaving for deployment over to KAF and well I was checking over the kit list and lot of it doesn't make any sense to me, I'm mostly thinking about the whole ruck sack thing. To anyone that has done a tour over there or know someone who's been there, can you tell me how the...

Future of ATHENA: Manning issues & LAV III upgrades

I don't know what you are trying to imply in that remark but I'm not sure if it's appropriate. I know it's a joke, but I'm sure that if some of them Vingt-deux are reading this topic would find the joke being of poor taste. However I must agree that they must be itching to go there. just my 0.02$

    Got my offer today

Well I've done my first phase a few years ago, but I don't think it will be worth anything, plus as much time I can get away from Pat platoon the better I will be. I can't wait to go back to Victoria :) felt in love with that place when I got my posting as a clerk Hopefully the training won't...

    Got my offer today

Yet again another thread of a happy camper. Just got the call today, will go and sign the new contract on October 6th, not getting sworn in since it was already done. So the offer is NES op, starting as a leading seaman, and I don't know when the training is yet, so pat platoon for me and...

Mutliple shots fired, Dawson College, Montreal

Well it's actually refered to be close to the shooting at the polytechnique in 1989 not the one at the parliment. One was reported to be dressed in military fatigue the other in black trench coat. http://tinyurl.com/jtu4l some source say there were 4 gunmen, most say there were 3 One...
