what is the current issue style of para wings for the service dress?  is it the shiny gold version or the dull gold version?  do all para wings look the same or does the style you have depend on when they were first issued to you?

Wanted: 1985 issue service dress army pants. Must be in excellent condition. Must have a 36 waist, and 32 lenth or be abled to be tailored to that size. Other option is a full uniform from 1998-present.  Jacket must be a 7244, pants must fit the above sizes

it was my understanding that regular force members were allowed unresticted wear in public places

i mean they are coming from work and they meet a few people in a bar. lets say any uniform, from service dress to CADPAT.  your thoughts?

thanks guys!  my only real concern was that the insignia didn't match the jacket however i guess that is because the insignia has a black backing on it right?

the one i have is dated 1985, it has the shoulder straps.  i know it fits the pattern of the new one i am just converned about the colour.

so if i got a uniform from like 1984 on that would be the same as what they are now?

can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the service dress (jacket, dress shirt and pants) of the mid 1980's and now.  i am trying to put something for a friend of mine that was in the army before and wonder if an older issue jacket will cut it.  thanks!

i am not in the military, just trying to get this done as a gesture to my friend.  it is a suprise so i can't ask him, can someone plese just tell me the measurements for the para wings?  it is the last thing i have to get done. :(
