Right this second, I'd still bet my loonie on his winning the leadership being held in friendly territory. The final numbers? I'll wait until closer for a WAG

Did anyone remotely credible actually say that that you could point us to? I didn’t see any serious reporting suggesting he would personally do as dismally in the by-election as he did in the general.
