2023 UCP Alberta election

I'm always blown away how little representation the Alberta Lib Party has, but some how the NDP are huge. Its a province of extremes I guess.
I suspect that like the BC liberals (who govern like conservatives) or Ontario Conservative (who govern like liberals) the Alberta NDP a is not really what people think they are.

NS Cons ? Always the forgotten right coast ;)

And the stupidity of candidates begins . . . actually, it never really ends, just the first one in this election to be dropped.

A candidate for the United Conservative Party in southern Alberta has resigned after claiming in a video that children are being exposed to pornography in schools.

Torry Tanner, who was running in Lethbridge West, made the comments in a 50-second video posted online.

“We, as parents, are in a unique position to protect the innocence of our children yet alarmingly we are seeing increasing instances where kids, even those attending kindergarten, are being exposed to pornographic materials or, worse yet, having teachers help them change their gender identity with absolutely no parental consent or knowledge whatsoever,” Tanner said in the video.

And people were just a bad towards those who wouldn't get the jab. Who cares anymore. Its COVID its a non subject.
True. About Covid. I think it had more to do with the Hitler stuff.

But if you are having to apologize, defend and explain it isn’t a very good campaign week.

Adding the latest polling. The UCP is still leading but has seen a signifiant constant drop in the seat count.

This is a real close one to be sure
