The targets picked seem deliberately calibrated to do that.

Doesn't sound very promising.

Pakistan has previously insinuated this would cross a nuclear redline since it could be existential for them. Similarly for any naval blockade.

Though I imagine, China would ramp up before to try and ease the pressure.

Canada has been in a very high profile diplomatic dispute with India, why would either India or Pakistan want us to "mediate"?

They’ve both been caught conducting influence, interference and intimidation campaigns in this country so I say fuck ‘em both.

In theory almost anything is possible with enough decent engineering, money, and national will. In reality, it will not be that easy, it will take large sums of money, and unless Modi wants to be dictator for life (I'm not ruling that out either), it will not be completed under his watch. It could take years alone to do the proper analysis of where to place new dams, reservoirs, and essentially new riverbeds. There may well be unpredicted and severe negative impacts on the ecology in India as well.

Based on what was reported yes -- which would explain why Indian A/C crashed in India and Pakistani A/C crashed inside their own borders.
Rumblings that India didn't actually do too badly on the scoreboard either...

Gotta say, an air battle of that size does not bode well for escalation. There's a lot of videos floating around of Pak armoured columns moving East towards India.
