Nah. You're going off all the nationalistic Indian denialism that is screeching for proof on the internet. And that's fine to protect their ego and pride.
But it won't change objective reality.
That they launched and were picked up near the border is a fact. This shows either arrogance or just ignorance to the need for tactical deception.
That the Pakistanis picked up and played their comms is a fact. This shows that they either don't have or didn't use encrypted comms. You know what the alternative explanation is? That the Pakistanis got their crypto. That's not better.
That they warned Pakistan about an impending attack is a fact. Hell, they did it in the press.
The above is all before even getting into debates over what was lost.
And all this, for what? A few hangars and camps (which the Pakistanis mostly emptied out)? Meanwhile, there's Strat analysts sitting in Rawalpindi and Beijing who are absolutely calculating that Indian forces:
1) Don't understand modern networked warfare.
2) Don't understand basics like operational and tactical deception.
3) Have a Mish Mash of kit that they can't make work cohesively.
Do you think this means India is going to be safer going forward?
I would have said it was bad for India and a large blunder. What is going to make it a catastrophe for India, are reactions like yours, which care more about protecting national pride, than learning from the mistakes and making sure they don't happen again.
There are two branches of Information that are coming out of India, one from social media and media, and the other from the Indian armed forces, and they don’t exactly match,
If you go by Indian social media, yea you will find exajurated claims and Jingoism that don’t match with what the armed forces of India is saying, but if you go by what is coming out of the military press release, I believe itnto be all accurate information ( initial 8 strikes, killing of Abdul rauf, who killed that WSJ journalist, and the nur khan bombing.), army still hasn’t confirmed Rafael crashes.
I got nothing to gain from being jingoistic, except maybe a little pride but Id much rather admit defeat when defeat is there, which I don’t think is the case in this.
None of the initial eight missile attacks were intercepted, and much of the missiles did land after the initial attack,
This was more of a skirmish then a war,
With India clearly achieving tits objective, scrapping the iwt, proving that it can target deep inside Pak territory = it can target deep inside Chinese territory, and rallying the Indian population behind avenging the Kashmir attack, just like America after 9/11, India had to do “something”, can’t just sit around, people complain about the war on terror but imagine if America did nothing, how would that look, America did the best thing in taking action, same logic India applied, can’t just be sitting ducks.
In regards to the comms leak, I could not find any information anywhere about it, it’s true that Pak predicted the attack but that could’ve been a hunch or through inside information, but when then it couldn’t do anything to stop it,
Which is why India gained the upper hand, imagine any other country being attacked deep inside its territory, that is a war declarations, yet Pak was not able to retaliate in a full scale attack and left it at a skirmish,
If the comms leak was true, knowing how jingoistsic pak media is, they would’ve been leaching it for atleast a year.
In regards to China, obviously China is a bigger power, but it is growing a rapid pace to start a war , most scholars believe China does not intent to go to war for atleast 20 years, let’s see what the technology is at that time, and remember china has not been in a operational war since mid 90’s, and surrounded at literally all sides by enemy nations.
People forget the key advantage India has over China, DEMOCRACY, being communist it is a dictatorship, there has to be some angst against xi in the Chinese leadership and people that will be its weak spot, which can be worked to a “democratic revolution” / Civil war in China itself, most Chinese are very fine people, they couldn’t give a damn about the party if they had a choice.
