It's the NDP, DEI is mantra. That complaint would have as much substance as soneone complaining a politician in Alberta is wearing a cowboy hat.

I should have been more specific. Yes, there were well more than zero people calling JMS a DEI choice, and bemoaning Team Orange’s DEI/LGBTQ ethos, so I’m going to guess they would have complained about any perceived DEI-ness in the field.

That said, there were also no shortage of JMS critics who just thought he was a hypocrite/champagne socialist/poor tactician and/or strategist outside of his race/cultural background too.
