Perhaps this is a case of, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Perhaps this man thought these women really are nice to look at; not saying they are, just saying that, to each his own. There is also to consider that, 'mug shots', tend to be less than flattering; such as those which adorn passports.
I wonder if the courts should just say, two wrongs don't make a right, find away to appropriately punish both sides (the guy and the gals) and have done.
Unfortunately, while what the guy did was immoral, I'm not aware of it being illegal; yes, I realise what the girls did was immoral as well. Both sides, the man and the girls, should have performed self restraint and then none of this would have happened in the first place.
Almost everyone has been gifted the grace of self control and self restraint, but so many choose, of their own free will, not to put this grace to use; espeically when this important grace is needed the most.
One is only as good as their word, vows mean something. Breaking a vow (in this case by way of cheating); this ranks up there with the breaking of a pledge or oath.
I would like to think that, for better or worse, this couple will sort through this blow to their marriage (infidelity is definitely something a couple can work through, provided both the husband and wife are willing; divorce is only an option if one or both make it an option), but after the wife's contribution to the situation, along with the contribution of the other women, I think it is unlikely that this couple will make a mends.
What a shame. It's always sad to see a marriage fall apart. I hope there are not any children involved.
