3 VP CO & RSM relieved of duty

General consensus I've seen so far is:
-the soldier who reported it is a rat/blade.
-'just the boys having a road rocket' vibe
-that guy better put in his VR

We keep telling our soldiers 'if you see something, say something, then act surprised when they do.

I think theres some nuance between reporting misconduct and a beer with the team on a vehicle youre not driving, but are you commanding.

I think it's a great way to build camaraderie.

Being ultra vigilant with the see something say something stuff I can see younger or less experienced soldiers not easily understand that nuance.

There is a fine line.

Our facility went non smoking and the older folks found places to indulge. Some junior staff might have ratted them out.
But the same junior staff wouldn’t report staff smoking weed at work.

There is also the liklihood that the CO and RSM disciplined soldiers for alcohol misconduct, and one of the troops had a chance to get back at them.

Wouldn't be the first time someone's been caught in a rules for thee not for me moment. However to warrant the div commander removing them, I feel like the situation that created this might be a bit bigger then we know

Or…hear me out….there are other reason(s), other than random internet rumours.

Point is- unless you are the affected CO, RSM, or Div Comd making the decision, we don’t know.
