3 VP CO & RSM relieved of duty

Removed on a Tuesday, reinstated on a Friday?
Considering the size of the CA, removing a BN Commander and RSM is sort of like removing the CG of a Division down here.

2-3 days ‘suspension’ seems to me to be very very odd.
Hard to understand what would be worth dragging their name through the muck for that time frame that did warrant a longer investigation.

Returning them to the position after the 2-3 days make it appear to me the CA flinched, which since this is all public, to me calls into question 1) the leadership above 3VP 2) the CAF as an entirety with an own goal of looking very suspect with the on the bus, off the bus ‘discipline/administration’ mess up.

If it was serious enough to remove a CO and RSM, one would probably surmise a serious investigation would be undertaken.

If it wasn’t serious, and could be wrapped up in a few days, one wonder about why not wait until after the Change of Command and conduct it with a little more discretion. As I would say that not only did LtCol Hudson and CWO Doerr have their reputation tarnished by this - but the entire CA looks like it hangs out at a Barnum and Baylee Tent.

I assume their punishment will include going back to take the change of command parade while still wreathed in shame.

It's an evil genius move IMHO ;)
